Web Developer CV Example & Writing Guide
Web developer CVs need to immediately communicate your stack, your level of experience, and what you've built. The biggest mistake web developers make is listing technologies without context — "I know React" tells a recruiter nothing, but "built a React SPA serving 200K monthly users" is a strong signal. ATS systems parse for specific language and framework keywords: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Vue, Node.js, Python, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB. Include them all. A portfolio link or GitHub profile is essential — it does more work than any bullet point.
